Friends

I was reading a friends blog today, and it made me so homesick. We just recently moved from Richfield to Herriman. It was a great move, but it's so hard to leave people behind. We have moved a lot since Las Vegas; Georgia, Richfield, then here. O.k. not a ton, but it seems like it, anyway. When we moved to Richfield Wade was working nights, then coaching in the afternoons. Paityn was 2, and it was a very hard adjustment. It was his hometown, and he was well known. I on the other hand, felt like the wife stuck at home who had to deal with the change and all the chaos that change was bringing. I prayed for friends. I am not a great friend person. I keep to myself and I like it, but I prayed. I have been blessed to know some great women . It's amazing how the Lord blesses us with what we need. Wade moved up to Salt Lake that next summer to work, and I was left alone at home. I don't know what I would have done without these ladies. Bookclubs, PTA, lunches, zumba, the park, trips to Provo, or just hanging out at their houses. It was such a blessing. As I look back It's easy to recognize the people the Lord puts in your life, and I really don't think anyone will do. I really believe that "True" friendship is hard to find. True friends that make life easier, and fun, and enrich your life, friends that accept you for you with your flaws (many flaws) are not a dime a dozen. So, thanx ladies. Thanx for being my friend.
We saw these buck Wade has been watching last weekend.
Looks like a "Bachelor Party" Ha! That was Wade's joke. He about tore my arm off . We came around the corner and he saw all these Bucks ( is that right) in a field. He took my camera jumped out of the car with his phone, and said come back in an hour. I'm going down wind to catch some shots of these boys. Too bad, my lens isn't big enough to get them really well. They were beautiful though.

Wendover- aren't you jealous you couldn't come?? I know, I know.......It was ridiculous. I guess growing up in Vegas has jaded me. 4 hotels does not constitute a vacation. I hear a lot about going to Wendover. I honestly don't know why.
These opinions are not meant to harm anyone, they are not the opinions of the Broadcasting company, they are just opinions.

We took off to go see the Bonneville Salt Flats. One of the many things I love about Wade is he loves to see new things. We both love to take scenic drives, so we ended up here. It looks like snow. Kinda crazy, you can walk on it, and people were 4 wheeling all over it. We ended up in Wendover after we drove the 3 hours out there and this was it. It was closed because of wind, and it was $20 to drive out to watch the races, and we had to sign multiple waivers for our children. Sheesh!! Sometimes our trips don't pan out, but at least we saw something new. The Bonneville Salt Flats!! Woo- Hoo!

They didn't really eat it, just for pictures sake.

Aaaaah! A rest after an evening of Volleyball practice. Paityn loves volleyball. I'm sure it's because Lindsey does., but Wade doesn't miss out on practicing with her early.

Lindsey's 1st day of school ! She loves 7th grade. Her school is huge compared to Richfield. Hopefully she will always love school!!

Grandparents weekend and Bear Lake

Grandma and Grandpa Christensen decided to come down and check out Herriman. We went to the reservoir

Had yummy waffles

Oh, more reservoir, that fist bump was for swimming across the reservoir with McKenna
Lindsey and Ginger laying out like Divas, eating grapes

Paityn loves the sand

A little Trampoline action

Why do they always want to play after their hair is done and we're on our way to church?

Wades family had some property up in Bear Lake so, we went to visit and go to the Lake.

Brett the muscle man, love the shell speedo.

Paityn the Mermaid

The beautiful lake behind us. It really is that turquoise up close, and so clear you can see the bottom in the shallows.
We stopped at the Logan temple on the way up. So beautiful!

Holy Flower! Not really holy, but it could be because it was in front of the temple.

The kids try at picture taking. Anybody want to check out Bretts photography blog it's: brett photos@need some more practice.com. he he.

We start school here a little early. Brett is in year round. We found out he was the day before he was supposed to start. Ya, not. Not excited to have our summer cut short, but he was in for 2 weeks and then out for 3, so I guess I can't complain.

The No trespassing sign was cropped out of course.!!

We had the best 4th, we've had in a long time. All of our family was there on both sides. Luckily Rick brought his blow up slide!! The kids played for hours

The kids snarfling down their candy

Our Beautiful Lindz in the parade.

I think she had a good time. I didn't get video, I'm so mad. By the time I figured it out, they were half way down the street.

The kids got so much candy it was crazy. They filled their bags almost half way full!

Not going to let a piece go !

Everyone, just waiting

We came home from Lagoon, and turned around the very next week to help Nana/Papa move and Rick/Em move. Lot's a work but it is so good to have Mom and Dad on our side of the country again! We went home, and packed ourselves up. We decided all in one week to find a house, got approved, packed up and moved. We decided on Monday and were packed and moved into our new house in Herriman by Friday night. It was a very physical 2 weeks!! Thanx to my parents and Rick and Em helping us get here. We went back the next day to Richfield for the 4th of July with Wade's family, and mine, then home on Tuesday. Wednesday, I unpacked, packed suitcases and we left for Montana on Thursday. Talk about a whirlwind!!!
