DAYS OF SUMMER

Now that cabin fever has officially kicked in. I'm looking forward to the things we get to do this summer. First waterfights, swimming, and floating down the canal, next all the fun trips and sights we get to see. Next FOOTBALL Brett and I had a blast coaching the high school football team this year they went 6-4 this year, it was there first winning season in 15 years, we had 5 players on the all-state team (two of them receivers which I coach), and the last thing I'm looking forward to is the crewcut haircut.

We had a big snow 2 Sundays ago, and I broke the Sabbath and let the kids go out and play in it.It always seems to snow on days that they can't play in it fresh, so I let them. Low and behold, our 2nd counselor came over to ask us to speak the next Sunday. That's why I always try to Choose the Right. I ALWAYS get caught. I told him in Sacrament meeting the next week that next time he needed to make an appointment and we would be nestled around the fire with our scriptures open. HAH

Abe Lincoln has "left the building"
We had quite a few honks for our Abe Lincoln snowman.

Paityns first haircut.

We went from SCRAGGLY to Cutie in 15 minutes. She held so still and did so good. She looks much older, so I'm not sure how much I like that! It is really cute on her though and it flips all by itself, so we might have to work a little harder at that. She looks in the mirror and says "pretty baby"

Paityn turned 2!

New outfit vacuum and boops. Boots, but she calls them boops
You can tell she's number 3. She was in a nasty little onsie for her family birthday party. The other 2 were in new clothes and dressed up. I'm a terrible Mother.
I can't believe how much she has changed. Makes me so sad! Happy Birthday Paitey we love you!!

Bretts Baptism

Poor Brett got lost in the shuffle. He was Baptized on December 8th. We had so much family and so much fun! We had a MADD game of Dodgeball at the church after lunch. Uncle Wade really knows how to keep the kids entertained. We love you Bretty and are so pleased with how awesome you are!

Christmas Eve

Rick and his family came down on Christmas Eve to go sledding at the Sand Ledges here in Richfield. We had so much fun. These boys had no problem going from the top. I on the other hand only went from 1/4 of the way down it was so steep!

Lindsey, Paityn, and Ellie
Brett didn't need a sled. The boys got so tired of losing their sleds (they accidentally let them go from the top) they decided to be like penguins and go down belly first! He learned from last time in the snow to bundle up.

I'm not sure what you would call this. It's not sledding, it's more like plowing. I think
Wade and all his tough talk got a little intimidated with the size of this hill. Now Lindsey knows first hand what a white christmas is. They looked like snow people when they got off that sled, and Lindsey was scared to death!!!!
