Kite Day

Yesterday in honor of turn off TV week we went to the park to fly kites.

Thanx to Aunt Lisa for the kites. The kids loved it.

Good times, good times, now I'm done. Whomever thought of turn off TV was probably not a mother.

Easter

Can't believe how big they are getting. here's the kids in their Easter duds!

Finally found my pics. We had a great Easter. It was so warm down in Vegas.

Brett won the guitar solo contest

Swimming is what the kids did all weekend!!

Volleyball

WOWWW! Bad pictures ahead. My camera was low on batteries. So, obviously the pics turned out awful sorry, but these are the only ones I have of Lindsey Volleyball
This is the team and they did so good. From 1st day to tournament they improved so much. Wade loved coaching and I helped out a little, but my info is limited.

Lindseys serve. She did so good. She was diving for balls and going up for spikes. I was so proud.
Ra ra ra Go Linds.

General Conference

so, after our Fabulous April Fools Day we went up to Pleasant Grove to my Brothers house, for more fun!! Thanx Em. for a Thpectacular weekend! Here is Braxton in the toy box. Yes, the toy box
Dalin being crazy cool
We were able to take the kids above 8 to their FIRST General Conference at the Conference Center. I had never been and neither had anyone else but Rick. Here is Rick and Braxton outside the Conference Center. Rick was an umbrella model!
His Austin Powers Umbrella Model depiction
One more!
Us, of course. It was so cold. It was snowing and freeeeezing!
Bill, Lisa and kids
All of us at the Conference Center in front of the Christ coming to the Americas Pic. Remind me next time to tell the people to get the picture in the background. HELLO!
All done, after 2 hours everyone was ready to go.
I can't believe how old these girls look! Sad!
So Amazingly cool. I wish I would have brought my Binocs. Motab sounded amazing, and I am not a huge fan. I am now after hearing them in there!
Our one and only pic of them in front of the Salt Lake Temple. We were outside looking for tickets. You can see how red their cheeks are and poor Linds., had blisters from brand new shoes and had to keep walking. What's a little sacrifice for conference huh?! I am so glad that our kids have parents who love the temple and wanted them to be at the Conference Center. I hope we can show them how important and amazing the gospel is! Thanks Em for staying home with the 7 little ones!! Next time Burke will get to go! Now, just 3 more months til we can all be together again! We're looking forward to Ryan and Leah and Briar being there too!!
The Best April Fools Day Ever!!! My sister showed up on April fools day from Montana without telling us! Just a small little 11 hour trip. My kids were so excited. They are so close, it was Fabulous!
This is the kids Swing dancing! Haley came and taught them what she had learned in YW!

Big boys in pink chairs and crowns!!

March/April

I am disgusted with myself for not blogging lately. Oh well, Lindsey and Paityn love to cook!
It took me a while to figure out my flash and she got frustrated! Just imagine that in 7 or 8 years. Her attitude will be quadrupled!

I Love to take pics. Can't wait til I get my new camera!

Swimsuit My Eye

GREAT SHADES OF HATES. Have you seen the new "one piece" swimsuit that is out now? They try to fool you by adding a 3 inch rectangle piece of material on both sides to cover your stomach, but who are they kidding? It plunges down to your dangin navel and who is going to let their daughter wear something like that? Now, I was raised in Vegas and I know a poll dancer outfit when I see one. One piece my eye. It may be connected so they can call it a one piece, but you can string 2 coconuts together and maybe get away with the same definition. What has the world come to? It is called a monokini. And they sell these things at Target. No longer do you have to drive down the strip to find a "Strippers R Us" shop to sell items such as these. Sheesh! I wont even post a picture on here for all those under age kids who frequent my blog. (Ha) Go search them out yourself. Before you know it, Target ads may have to be covered by a piece of plastic at the magazine stand, and they will only be allowed to be aired after 8:00 when the kiddies have gone to bed. My good heavens! I have always wondered why people choose to wear "kini's" like that anyway. Now I did have my heathen days, where I wore a bikini but I'll tell you right now all it took was a dive or a light swim to shove that top piece down to my toes. It didn't take me long to figure out that they were ridiculous, and now I am even embarassed that I would do such a thing. Anyway, I just can't imagine what will be designed next. Heaven knows it's only going to get worse.
